Day 1 Arrival in Entebbe Arrival at Entebbe International Airport Transfer to accommodation. Briefing on the safari itinerary
Day 2-3 Mabamba Swamp Birding Excursion Early morning birding excursion at Mabamba Swamp Chance to spot the elusive Shoebill Stork and other wetland bird species Return to accommodation for relaxation and leisure activities.
Day 4-6 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Gorilla trekking experience, tracking one of the habituated gorilla families Birdwatching in Bwindi, home to numerous Albertine Rift Endemics Optional community and cultural encounters with Batwa people Accommodation: Lodges or camps in Bwindi area
Day 7-9 Queen Elizabeth National Park Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Game drives in search of savannah birds and wildlife such as lions, elephants, and buffalo Birding boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to a variety of water birds Optional visit to Ishasha sector for tree-climbing lions Accommodation: Lodges or camps in Queen Elizabeth area
