Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
After break fast, you will drive through the famous Luwero triangle, Budongo forest on the western arm of the Great Rift Valley to Murchison Falls National Park. You will drive to the top of the falls where the Nile perfects its beauty. Here you will see the calm Nile forcing its self through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 43 meters down producing a thunderous roar of white water. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge / Red chilli Rest Camp.
Day 2: Game drives and Boat trip .
Wake up early for a cup of tea or coffee, and then take a morning game drive to search for the early risers and the predators in the northern circuit of the park. This drive will reward you with game like Hyenas, Buffaloes, Giraffe, Lion, Elephant, Hartebeest, antelopes and a variety of savannah and woodland birds. Return to your lodge for full breakfast and lunch.
Later in the afternoon, you will go for the boat trip to the bottom of the falls. Expect to see a wide variety of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and plenty of water birds. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge/ Red chilli Rest Camp.
Day 3: Depart for Kibale Forest National Park
Take breakfast at your lodge set off to Kibale, through beautiful sceneries of Butiaba escarpments and the Great Western arm of the rift valley, lunch in Fort portal; connect to Ndali lodge/primates lodge. In the evening, go for some entertainment in some of the cultural dances of the region. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Primates lodge Kibale.
Day 4: Primates Tracking and Nature walk
Kibale is a home to 13 primates species and 350 bird species. Have breakfast and assemble to Kanyanchu tourist center for a briefing. Enter the forest to track the chimpanzees and other primates like the colobus, L'hoest monkey, Red tailed Monkeys, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys, Olive baboons, Bush babies and many more.
Have lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a walk to Bigodi Ecotourism sanctuary known for various bird species and rare fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge / primates lodge.
Day 5: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will follow the mystical Rwenzori Ranges and connect to Queen Elizabeth, with lots of game viewing enroute. Expect to see leopard, hyena, elephants, buffalos, Lion, and many more. Lunch at Mweya safari lodge, take an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel, known for the highest concentration of hippos in Africa, with about 610 bird species. Expect lots of hippos, Huge Nile crocodiles and birds such as the Great White, Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, Open-Billed Stork, African Jacana and the rare shoebill among others. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari Lodge / Hippo Hill Camp.
Day 6: Full Day Game drive
Wake up early for a cup of tea / coffee, take Kasenyi trail for game viewing drive to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. Expect to have excellent opportunities to see Spotted Hyena, leopard, Uganda Kob, Herds of elephants, wart hogs, Lion, Bush babies, and several primates.
Return to your lodge for full breakfast; relax as you wait for lunch. After lunch at Mweya Safari lodge, you can either proceed for another game drive along Mweya Peninsula to explore more of Queen Elizabeth's Natural treasures, or, you can go track wild Chimpanzees and other primates in Kyambura Gorge.
Over night at Mweya Safari Lodge / Hippo Hill Camp.
Day 7: Depart for Bwindi Forest; Home of Mountain Gorillas
Embark on our 3-5 hours journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest after breakfast. The journey takes you through Ishasha sector, famous for tree climbing lions, arrive in Bwindi by lunch time, lunch at Gorilla Resort. If the evening is free, you can take a walk to nearby Batwa communities (Pygmies). Return for dinner and overnight stay in Buhoma Community Bandas / Gorilla Resort.
Day 8: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Wake up and prepare for today's incredible experience. To transfer to park headquarters for briefing, after which, you will penetrate the impenetrable Bwindi forest in search for Gorillas. Tracking takes 2-8 hours depending on their movement. The activity requires you to go through thick, steep and slippery jungle grounds, making it tiresome! However, the thrill of encountering these giant Apes erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. You will stay with them for 1 hour for observation and photographs, later descent to your lodge for late lunch.
If the evening is free, you can take nature walk in search for birds around the lodge.
Dinner and over night at Buhoma Community Bandas / Gorilla Resort.
Day 9: Bwindi Forest to lake Bunyonyi
After morning breakfast at your lodge, set of to Lake Bunyonyi with lots of scenic viewing en-route. Lake Bunyonyi is known for excellent bird watching and boat rides (Canoeing) to different beautiful Islands that characterize the lake. All meals at Arcadia Cottages.
Day 10: Depart to Kampala.
Have breakfast and start our picnic drive back to Kampala with lots of game viewing en-route, stop at the Equator for photographs and experience being in two hemispheres at once. Arrive in Kampala by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in your Hotel/Lodge.
