Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive off after breakfast, take western direction to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stop at the Equator to experience how you can be in both hemispheres at once, visit the Royal Drum makers for a short talk and photography, and continue through the lush hills of the Park with lots of game drive enroute, arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Jacana Lodge or Simba Safari Camp.
Day 2: Full day tour activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning after a cup of tea / coffee, go for a game viewing drive which will provide you with excellent opportunities to see Spotted Hyena, leopard, Uganda Kob, Herds of elephants, wart hogs, Lion, and many more.
Return to your lodge for full breakfast, relax as you wait for lunch. After lunch at Mweya Safari lodge, have an evening boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, known for the highest concentration of hippos in Africa, with about 610 bird species. You will see a variety of game on the banks, seen drinking at the water's edge as Buffalo linger in the shallows and a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the shores including the Great White, Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, Open-Billed Stork, African Jacana and the rare shoebill.
Over night at Mweya Safari Lodge / Simba Safari Camp.
Day 3: Wild Chimpanzee tracking
After a very early breakfast, head to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Expect to see other primate species such as the Red tailed monkeys, Vervet, Black and White colobus monkeys, olive baboons and Giant forest hog, also butterflies and a wide range of Bird species. After the adventurous experience, head for Kampala arriving in the evening and over night at your hotel.
