Itinerary in brief
Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
You tour guide will pick you from the hotel after breakfast, then drive through the famous Luwero triangle and Budongo forest on the western arm of the Great Rift Valley to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey will offer you with splendid sceneries that are picturesque, reach the park in time for lunch. You will drive to the top of the falls where the Nile perfects its beauty; see the calm Nile forcing its self through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 43mtrs down producing a thunderous roar of white water. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge/Sambiya river lodge/Red chilli Rest Camp.
Day 2: Game viewing Drives & Launch cruise
Early this morning after a cup of tea or coffee, go for a game drive to search for the early risers and the predators in the northern circuit of the park. This drive will reward you with game like Hyenas, Giraffe, Lion, Elephant, Harte beest, Uganda Kob, Oribi and a variety of savannah and woodland birds. Return to your lodge for full breakfast and lunch.
Later in the afternoon, go for a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. You will see many hippos and crocodiles basking along the shores, buffaloes, and plenty of water birds including the rare shoebill. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge/Sambiya river lodge/Red chilli Rest Camp.
Day 3: Departure
You will have early breakfast and embark on your picnic drive back to Kampala, lunch en-route, reach by late afternoon.
