Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls
Leave Kampala for Murchison falls national park after breakfast. You will have a lunch stop before you reach the park. On reaching the park in the afternoon you will drive to the top of the falls from which the park was named. At the top of the falls you will see where the Nile perfects its beauty. You will see how the calm Nile transforms into a thunderous roar of white water falling deep down about 45m. After, you will transfer to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Game Drive and Launch cruise of Victoria Nile.
Before dawn wake up for a cup of tea/ coffee, to go for a game drive to search for predators and early risers. The drive will reward you with game like hyenas, giraffes, Lions, birds, Hartebeests, buffalos, elephants, primates and others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the great Victoria Nile to the Bottom of the falls. The boat ride will reward you with water game like hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of birds dashing and walking along the banks. Paraa Safari Lodge / Red chili Camp.
Day 3 Transfer to Semliki /Spot lit game drive.
Have breakfast and depart by road to Semliki Wildlife Reserve. The drive will take you down the eastern side of Lake Albert. Situated in the basin of the western Rift Valley, Semliki is one of the parks with the most diverse habitats in Africa ranging from Riparian forest, gallery rain forest, borassus palm forest and short and high grass savannahs. You will reach the park to have lunch and rest. In the evening after dinner go for a spot lit game drive through the park to sight big cats as well as genet and serval cats. Watch out for un usual nocturnal dwellers like the white tailed mongoose standard and pennant winged nightjars. Dinner and overnight at Semliki Safari Lodge.
Day 4 Boat on Lake Albert
Have breakfast and then go for a boat trip on Lake Albert to see the rare shoe bill, red throated bee-eaters, and beautiful sceneries of water falls up the lake with several fishing villages still in their traditional structures. Spend the whole day on the boat with breaks at several fishing villages. Dinner and overnight at Semliki Lodge.
Day 5 Game Drive / Transfer to Queen / Boat ride Kazinga Channel
Very early in the morning go for a game drive through the reserve and then return to the lodge for late breakfast. After breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. The drive will take you through the green country side to reach the Fort Portal located amidst the Mountains of the moon. This will offer you with stunning sceneries of the mountains of the moon to proceed and reach Queen in the afternoon. Have lunch at the Lodge and then in the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. Expect game like hippos, buffalos, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs and a variety of bird life. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Institute of Ecology.
Day 6 Game drive /Chimps in Kyambura
Very early in the morning have a cup of tea / glass of water and go for a game drive in the Kasenyi area to see game like leopards, lions, hyenas, the side stripped jackal and elephants. In the afternoon you will go track chimps in the Kyambura gorge. The walk in the Kyambura will also reward you with primates like the vervet monkeys red tailed, colobus monkeys and baboons. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Institute of Ecology.
Day 7 Transfer to Kampala
Have breakfast and drive back to Kampala to have a stop at the equator for photographs and then proceed to reach in the evening.
